Got A Doe With A Mane On Video

    I was playing around with some Doe footage I filmed and included this doe that has a short mane or cowlick on the top of her neck, just thought it was kinda neat to see.
    Ill forwarn you the footage is really shakey since I was filming from the ground freehand without the tripod :(

    Very cool Deb! At our camp in Ontario someone shoots one with a mane every couple of years. Definitely a unique trait. Other than up there, the only other one I have seen was in Knox Cty, IL last year. It was a buck and we appropriately named him Secretariat.

    I've killed several with a mane where I hunt... seems it's almost a dominant trait there.

    My taxi friend usually gets a few bucks in every year with manes. But not many for sure.

    That's cool. Looks like one of them mated with a horse at some point along the way. haha....Looks a big doe population over there, need some help thinning them out? :)
