Caleb I am not tied to any camera company and right now we have Covert, Stealth, Radix, Exodus, Snyper, Browning and Moultrie cameras out. The last camera I would buy is the Exodus...it SUCKS BALLS!!! I dont give a **** about the warranty the pictures suck. The color is crappy and the focus is just not great. You have zero chance of ever winning a trail camera contest with that thing. I also dont care if you dont care about the picture quality all you worry about is the warranty. This is a $75 camera with a $125 markup for the warranty. You can buy 4 wildgame cameras and just keep throwing them away when they are done and have the same life and picture quality. The Snyper's pictures are ok if it is sunny out from what I have seen. When it is cloudy the pictures are too dark. The color isnt very crisp either. The moultrie, stealth and Brownings are just ok nothing to write home about. I like the Radix but havent used it long enough to say this camera is the best. There are some things they are working on and maybe it will be great but it needs some work. If I have only one camera to put out and can not take a chance of missing pictures or having problems at this time I would have a Covert on that spot. When I put my cameras out I try to decide how important that spot is and every time I think it is I put a Covert. Now I might give Radix a spot or two from what I saw but they wont get my best spot by themself for a while.
Here is another picture of the big one. The buck in the front is a big bodied 6 1/2 year old 6 pointer for comparison.
This describes me to a "T" right now. Coverts still are the cameras I reach for over the others when dealing with my "hot spots". Radix looks promising but still far to new to me and even others to say otherwise.
Nice deer! I haven't tried a Covert cam yet but I agree with you. Spend the money on some cheaper Wildgames, cover more ground and throw them away or sell to someone after 2-3 years. I have a moultrie and I think it sucks. Not worth the money. I like my stealthcam though.
