I was wondering if anyone has used a Gorilla hang on. I have a gift card to Cabela's and wanted to get a new tree stand with it. I have the climbing sticks from Gorilla and they work great. I know Lone Wolf makes a great stand but i just cant afford one of those. Just wanted some feed back on the Gorilla stands if anyone has any.
I have a gorilla hang on. Not sure if its the same one your looking at but I like it. It has a big platform and the seat is comfortable. Overall I think it's a good stand.
Save your card, and save up for a lone wolf. There a little more money but its gonna last forever, so there definately worth the extra money. The only thing you will have to replace is the straps. Look at it this way if it lasts you ten years it cost you 25 bucks a year........get the lone wolf its worth the money and you definately wont be dissapointed.
This is your best bet. I mean I like my gorilla and all but I tried my friends summit the other day and its like night and day. I was going to buy another stand for this fall the other day, but I decided to save up for either a summit or a lone wolf. It will definitely be worth it in the long run.
I have the Gorilla hang on and sticks combo, I actually killed my buck out of it last season. That being said, I am probably going to buy a Lone Wolf combo sometime in the near future.
