I just picked one up last night. Been wanting one for a while. I get tired of the ones that came with the stand since they are like a jigsaw puzzle in the dark. Well while at Wal Mart I just picked up the box and put it in the cart and the wife just kept walking. Lol. Wasnt expecting that one. Well I really like this harness. It fits very well and is comfortable. I love how quick it is to put on. It seems a little heavy but at least I know it is built well. I havent hunted with it yet built cant wait to do so. It looks very easy to use which will make my life better. I was a little worried on how it would fit since I am 5'8'' and 140 pounds but this thing is very adjustable. It can still be adjusted more. All in all I am very happy with my purchase so far. The real test is still to come.

You can also get he pads to go on the harness which if I'm wrong turns it into the G30 harness.

Question... I just ordered one of these. Did it come with the strap to put around the tree or do you have to buy that seperate?

i like the lanyard on this harness but it its noticably heavier than tree spider, hss ultra lit, and the muddy, would be IMO the best harness out if they could shed some weight

Doesn't it have the seat belt type buckles for the leg straps? I didn't like the bulk.....

Good Luck! We need to use a harness every time we climb a tree. Spend $100 and get a good harness. It will last a lifetime. I'm glad yoi did

I picked up a G15 a few months back for $45 (they have a great military discount if you order from the factory) So far I couldn't be happier with it. The buckles aren't true seat belt style buckles, they are a lot thinner and easy to hook up. The only downfall would be there are metal so they can make some noise, but I haven't had a problem with it. It came with the tree strap and a lineman's belt both can be can be stored in a pouch that connects to either side of the harness.

I am pretty sure they changed the buckles on the HSS. No longer seat belt type like mine has (which I hate because they make a ton of noise) and now they give you a linemans rope/strap whereas before they did not. I am going to switch but haven't decided. I do agree that the ones they give you with the stands are impossible to figure out without studying the instructions.

I picked mine up for 90 at Cabelas. Love it so far. Don't even realize I haven't it on. Comes with tree strap and linemans strap, easy to put on and tons of adjustability. You don't need worry if your on the edge of a size because this is a one-size fits all harness but does in a very easy and non bulky way. I am 6'6" and 165lb and it adjusts to fit me great. Can't get that kind of fit in other brands.

They Changed the seat belt buckles. I just purchased one and they are still metal but much more compact. The clip nice and I haven't had any problems. Love my HSS!
