Today was the first of our early season. We watched the birds for about entire week before we decided to setup in the field that we hunted today. About every 2-3 days the birds were switching farms since a lot of farmers were cutting silage. As of yesterday it was the 2nd day in a row that the geese hit this field and we felt pretty confident that no other new fields would be cut and the birds would hit this one again. Sure enough they did. 3 flights total in about 30min.. we knocked down 7 out of the first flight, 4 in the second and 6 in the third. Not bad for our season opener. not as good as last year though, we limited out last year.

Never been into goose or duck hunting but it sounds like you had a great time.
