    For you MN guys, MN DNR has a file on their website that overlays into Google Earth for all the public lands. It is sweet! Get it on my phone too.

    I use Google Earth all year long. I was actually on it today getting an idea where I need to move a blind for turkeys after finding a new roosting spot. I noticed that they updated my area to October 2013 :tu: all of our food plots now show up. I use google planimeter a lot also during our food plot planting months to get calculations on food plot acreage

    Trimble makes a product called GPS Hunt, you can put it on an IPhone or IPad and depending on if you're willing to pay for some of the premium features it can be pretty handy. I use a combination of this, Garmin base camp and Google earth for most of my scouting.
