How many of you guys use google earth for managing your properties, deciding stand locations and trail cam locations, checking out trails, or anything else?

I just downloaded google earth today and it's awesome! I can place stands, measure 40yds from a stand to see what I could possibly shoot, look where some trails are.. It's really cool and what I'm going to use from now on!

Haha and more zoom so we can just see where the deer are! And count their tines!

I use it all the time. Great advantage when you can import all your trails from a GPS straight onto google earth.

Bing birds eye is pretty sweet also it your area is available. Can't have too many map options.

Base Camp and the whole nine yards... Yup it is good but nothing beats in the field time in real time.

Some counties have plugins for Google Earth. I have an overlay of property lines and all the updated plat information on it. Pretty handy scouting tool :tu:

I love me some Google Earth.

I can't believe I haven't thought about using it until today... I'm gonna use it to find some good public bow hunting spots in eastern ND too

FWIW-NC also makes the property lines available for the game lands.

I use it on my laptop all the time. I have my property lines, stands, cameras, bedding areas, etc all marked out. I just wish I could access the same info on my phone. I have Google Earth on my phone but not all that info.

The green borders (overlay) are live examples of what NC makes available online, but you can use them on your phone. If you can create or get the kmz files for the boundaries...
