Good starter rangefinder?

    I looked up the Redfield since my dad always liked redfield scopes and we have one on an old 30-06 that is just bulletproof. The Redfield 550 seems like a fine rangefinder and has a camo option for no extra money. If I had known about it I probably would have taken a chance on it over the Nikon but it has done great for me the few times I have tried it so far. Time will tell though.

    I've got the simmons lrf600 and i love mine had it for a year and a half and never even had to repalce the battery!
