Great start on the day here in Denmark. A nice little Roe Deer buck.

Back home in Norway bowhunting is banned, so i try to get two trips a year to our neighbors in the south.

    Thanks for great response ;-)

Summer hunting is cool. In Denmark, the season starts may 16. (Bucks only) and lasts to july 15. Then opens up for all ages/both genders in october. That way weak bucks can be shot pre-rut (Roe Deer rut in end of july and out first week of august).

Good work. The banning part was hard to read.

That's pretty neat. How do you hunt them? From a ground/blind setup, spot and stalk or from an elevated stand like a tree stand?

Most commonly from treestands and towers:-) may also be stalked, but they are very awake.
It's also a very small deer, and quick to jump the string, so anything outside of 20m is completely out of the question :-)
