Good day for my son!! Sitting on the edge of a picked cornfield and had deer around him all morning. A pair of bucks came in, then bolted. He thought they busted him, but he noticed a coyote about 100 yds out in the corn. it worked towards him, at which time he put a 100 gr. 2 blade Bloodrunner down range and scratch one coyote.

After the coyote fell in the cornfield, he noticed the bucks in the trees that took off. He pulled out a Rattle bag, hit it a couple times and the bucks started to move back in. The rest, as they say , is history. The buck he took had a bad front leg, so he took that one over a decent 9 pt.

Nicely done! That buck's whole front leg/chest looks really strange. Is there some sort of growth in there?

That buck's chest cavity does look really strange. I wonder what happened? Either way, that's a heck of a hunt. Congrats!

No kidding. It looks like a giant cylinder there on the front.

My guess is that is the way that the shoulders are positioned for the photo op. Congrats to your son on a great hunt!
