I am originally from PA and that is where I first started chasing whitetails with a bow. I always look forward to hearing how everyone is doing there on the forums and I just wanted to wish all of you good luck this year!

Even with the warm temps I saw 4 bucks! Three of them were in a line behind one doe but I couldn't get a clean shot due to the leaves on the smaller saplings. Cutting those out asap!

Had this buck at 60 yards last night but couldn't get a shot because of golden rod and the fog.

Was I the only one skunked all day?? Geez, I thought it would have been normal to not see much with the temps the way they were, but everyone I talk to saw plenty of movement. This is a highly unusual start for our property.

    Good luck everyone.

I have a doe down, trail camera stolen and a tic pulled from my back on its way to the lab. Seen some smaller 8 points, but the buck activity has been slow for the most part for me. Been an interesting season so far.. At least I have the rust off and some meat in the freezer!
    Hows everyone else been doing?
