Is it open where A and B are, or is it covered? If it is open than I would think to look west of B not too far into the trees. Where is there food in the area? Any direction of predominant winds?
Sorry, The whole area between A&Bis heavily wooded and somewhat steep as can see on the topo. The food source is acorns and they are very abundant. Point C shows were I found a doe bedding area last month although when I went to hunt it I discoverd a hang on where I wanted to sit so I let it alone. Although it is public land its bowhunting only area and this is the most isolated strip as its far off the main water way roads. As of right now im looking at 32 degree low with a 3-6mph wind NNE
seems to me i remember you telling me about scouting and all that stuff so what happen to your own advice?
After looking at the topo I would still check west of B. If you look at the topo map you can see a nice steep ridge, somewhere around there could be a good buck area. Above the Pr of Prettyboy.
