Didn't know where to drop this one in...

I am being optimistic and looking for a meat grinder.

    Figuring in the $150.00 range?

    Suggestions?

How many deer do you plan on doing per year? Do you plan on using the grinder for anything more then just grinding?

What I plan and what I can execute may be different... I have 5 in my head for this year...mix of bow and smoke pole.

I am sure the wife can figure something to do with it also.

She has a Kitchen Aid mixer, is the grinding attachment for those any good?

Ok I asked because I ended up buying a cheap electric grinder from Wal-Mart of all places about 3-4yrs ago. I dont remember the name but I could get it for you if you are interested?
It has done probably 20deer in the time I have had it and havent had a problem yet(KNOCK ON WOOD)!!

I dont do Bologna, but I wouldnt be afraid to do so with it. Actually a buddy of mine borrowed it to do one of his deer last year and he stuffed bologna with it.
He like the way it performed so much he bought one almost just like it.

They are not the fastest thing in the world but I would guess 15mins to grind a whole deer?

I cant get you the link because Cabelas is not working??? They have/had one in the Bargain Cave that my buddy picked up for $90 to his door that looks like the one I have. I seen they also have another one that looks similair to mine except it is black for $99.

This is all I can think of for under $150, but if you would ask me"What would you buy if you had $500 to spend on one?" I would buy another $100 grinder, simply because for doing a few deer a year they work flawlessly!!
