So it started out as a AWESOME IL Bow hunt yesterday (Oct 22). I found a nice area to hunt. Only 15 mins from the house. I have land in Carroll CO. but I only get up there a few times. So let me get to the story. I call my buddy up "hey lets go huntin"! we get out in the stands about 2pm. 5pm deer start coming in these woods like madness! I have never seen anything like it. My buddy whacks a huge doe and then I take one. So we are very excited First Deer of the season. Now my buddy is much much older then me. He uses a Cross Bow. We meet up hook them to the ATV and pull up to our Trucks. He Takes our Bows lays them on he ground (heres where it turns bad) climbs into his Chevy 2500 truck and CRUNCH!!! His Cross bow is snapped in half and my PSE is all smashed. My Tru-Glow sight broken off, Cam twisted, string broke, Quiver torn off broadheads all opened up, arrows? and I dont know about anything else at this point. I hope mine can be repaired. The good thing is he didnt even think twice on telling me to take both our bows in ASAP to get fixed and hed pay for what ever it needed. I just hope it doest turn out to be a NEW bow. So its 6am Monday morning and I will be in the Gander Mountains Parking Lot at 9am. I actually got My Bow from a BOWHUNTING.COM staff member so this bad bow was set up! Im very sad....But as long as its done before Sat ill be ok.:bash:

That sucks! I did something similar about 9 yrs ago and ran over my own bow. Only good thing about it was that it was the last day of the season.
