Looking for some suggestions on some good cold weather gloves for bowhunting. Of course I'd prefer they not break the bank either. Lol. I have a feeling its gonna be pretty difficult to grip the bow when the weather and temp really drops and have to put on some think heavy gloves. I have some pretty nice bow gloves right now but they're not for really really cold use.

    Thanks in advance everyone. :)

P.S. I don't really mean grip I just mean putting big think gloves through the sling and all that. Lol

I dont even bother with heavy gloves for bowhunting...I use liner gloves and a hand muff with hand warmers inside works great!

I agree with the hand muff and disposable warmers. I tried the big bulky gloves (they were the mitten type with the flap that exposes the fingers) and I had the same problem. Of course, they were extremely warm. Just didn't feel good trying to fit my hand into the sling when grabbing for my bow.

This is what I do. I also added and Sims Insulator Strip to the front of my grip. Now it's all good :tu:

Made a huge difference in how long I can comfortably hold my bow once the snow flies!

Sweet ill have to pick one up because i had the same problem last year with my big gloves. Do you just put one right on the front? Then have an extra.

I just bought a hand muff from basspro made by redhead for $24.99. I have only used it a couple of times but it has a hand warmer pocket inside plus you can put your doe bleat or energy bars right inside for easy access. I just wear tight fitting UA gloves and this works awesome. Scoot

I picked up a pair of the Scent-Lok Bowhunter Release gloves from a BassPro this summer and I am very happy with them so far. They aren't the heaviest of gloves, but they are comfy, not bulky, and are fleece. The have the fold back trigger finger so you can text while in...errr...I mean you can feel your release when making the shot. I'll use a hand muff when the temps get really cold, but I'm really satisfied with these gloves.
