The Purification Creemony is a good read. Murder in a deer camp in the middle of nowwhere.

The Alex Cross Series are all good.

My favorite are the Mitch Rapp series. About terrorist and the CIA.

Seriously, Any of the Reacher Novels by Lee Child.

Start with Killing Floor. Awesome batch of books with wonderfully created character.

    Lone Survivor.........by Marcus Luttrell/Patrick Robinson.

Marcus was the only survivor of Operation Redwing in which 4 navy seals were ambushed and out numbered by a taliban force.

I just read a religious book Called Heaven is Real. It's a true story based on a little boy and his family. It is abesolutely the best book i have ever read. It litterally blows your mind!

I find it hard to be skeptical when the kid is only four years old and he knows all that stuff.

If his dad wasn't a pastor, I would be less skeptical. Enough hijacking, though. Sorry to the OP.

I'm surprised this was the first reference to this book. Everyone should read Lone Survivor. I haven't found anyone that said a tear didn't come to there eye at least once when reading it.

Both of these are self help, both are pretty dated but are good leadership books.

Seven Habits of Highly Effective People
    Steven Covey

    One Minute Manager
    Ken Blanchard

Of course there is always the greatest #1 selling book of all time.

tough read for me "lone survivor" some of my SEAL buddies have personal matters with some of the content. i myself have never met Mr. Luttrell so i cant comment, other than saying that all SEALs dont get a long and dont see eye to eye on everything.(just like the rest of us) i just chaulked it up as a very informative read and great that its doing so well bringing light to what those guys go thru. i thank those guys every day!
