Some of you may know that I have been layed off for 3 months.Well,I got the call today and start a new job Monday.I actually served my apprenticeship with this company and they really wasn't needing to hire anyone but they wanted me back so they called me.They were actually the first I talked too but they had people layed off and many on 32 hours. They got back up to 40 and called me.That is the good news.

The bad is I start back to work just as the darn pre rut starts.Oh well, back to weekend hunting.

Congrats on the job. It's great to get an opportunity like that right now with so few available.

Look at it this way, you got to get out there with your son and have a lifelong memory and a video of his kill. To me that's about the most success a guy could ask for.

Congrats! I know the lessened hunting time is a negative, but having a job now outweighs that. Plus you still get weekends:D Like Bry said, you already had quite a successful season with your son. That's something a lot of dad's can't say they've done.

Hell,Metropolis slipped by me last year and I thought about it AFTER it was over.I MIGHT try to shoot Metropolis in the hunter class if things work out for me job wise and baseball wise.

    Text on the way.
