I'm in need of some new tires on my truck any advice on some good all terrain tires that handle good off road and are durable?

Well, theres many different types out there. How aggressive the terrain ur gonna be driving on is going to be a big factor, as well as how many miles u will put on them. If u don't drive a ton of miles, but may get urself into some offroad predicaments u may want a more aggressive tire

I have Goodyear DuraTracs on my truck, and they are awesome. I have not been stuck yet, and I have done some pretty crazy things this year getting to my cameras with all this rain. They are wearing awesome too, but I only have about 8,000 miles on them so far. My truck eats tires, but these are still looking brand new. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again

My truck is a reg cab f150 and it does pretty good on tires and it's my dd and I want a tire I can use off road in a variety of situations, off road in rain while hunting, some mud (I'm not gonna go sink it) so I'm not looking for a super aggressive tire just one that will get the job done in minor situations and that won't break the bank.

I should be in mostly minor situations... The worst will be on hills after/during rain I might go thru some mud for fun but nothing super extreme.

My truck is also my daily driver, the DuraTracs aren't super aggressive (which is why I chose them). They are decently quiet for the type of tire they are, only a slight hum while driving. Mine are 10 ply 285/75r16, and mounted and balanced they were $1,300. At the time, they also had a $20/tire rebate, so I paid roughly $1,220.

Nitto TerraGrapplers are great off-road and surprisingly wear very well on the highway.

I was just wondering, I`ve got BFG all terrain TA`s on my truck right now. They are pretty aggressive, but they are a pretty good road tire. If you spend some time in the mud and getting into tough spots , ur money would be better spent on a tire designed more specifically for that type of driving. The m/t`s go awesome offroad, but typically suck onroad due to a rougher and louder ride.

I`m not sure how these tires that we`ve all listed would work on a 2wd. One thing with the more aggressive tires,is that u typically have to spin to get them to hook up. I would do a google search on the 2wd tires, or maybe check with a local dealer. I`ve got one local that has 3 guys all with great advice on stuff like that. If I remember I`ll see what they suugest( memory isn't the best..im getting old lol)

Toyo Open Country! Have them on my F250, great tread life and great on and off road unless you plan on doing some serious mudding!

I have been buying mastercraft AT (now AXT) for the last 2 sets and I have been very pleased. They are cooper discovery. I've gotten excellent life and traction out of them. My truck isn't my daily driver but my hunting spots are an hour and a half one way and I go there often through the season so it sees a lot of interstate.

Do not go with Hankook. 8,000 miles and the side walls completely separated on the two front tires and chunks were coming of the treads on the rear tires on my F150. Wouldn't cover them because they were a discontinued tire. Wonder why?

I got some Falken Rocky Mountain ATS a couple of years ago for under $800.00 that ride well on the road and do great in the muddy fields where I hunt.
