Hello i am interested in buying a bow. I have been a hunter my whole life just never ventured to bow hunting. A recent coyote problem at my house led to me trying a friends crossbow and i loved it, but feel a bow would be more my style. I was wondering which one to buy. I am looking for a good all around starter bow that would be good enough to use as a guest bow once im up and running. Please help.

Mission bows are supposed to be really good, modestly priced bows

Find a shop, go shoot a couple bows, you'll know which one is right for you ( maybe not the check book, but ya know how that goes!)

    Welcome aboard!

There's a ton of great bows out there. Honestly, hard to find a "bad" one. You budget and how it feels in your hands are going to be the biggest factors.

    Welcome to the site :tu:

I would echo Fitz's comment's get out there and try them. For me, after shooting ones from PSE, Bowtech, Mission and Bear, I settled on the Bear Legion RTH package. Great value, reasonably fast and shockingly quiet. Each bow fits differently to people, so my advice is to set a budget and try all the ones in the budget range and go from there. Best of luck.
