What the hell is wrong with people, deer poaching ring in Nebraska?! This whole get famous at any cost has been reaching a creepy level, deer hunting has really lost its roots even in my short existence, I don’t watch the majority of those web shows and TV shows, there’s a select few that still enjoy hunting for what it is and I respect that.

In a social media world where Like and Views dominate, people want to be out front. I had conversation with a friend recently and he was shocked to learn that a lot of hunting show guys put corn and other attractants out when they hunt at an outfitter. I told him it was obvious to me. I said why would a buck walk out of the woods, come directly towards his/her stand, stop and start eating in a certain spot? All that ground the deer covered coming to the hunter and he never stops once to eat? What else could it be? He said yeah, I see your point. Interested to see how this plays out for the Bowmars.

The first I heard of the Bowmar's was on Aron Snyders podcast, Kifarucast. Snyder had Bowmar on, he explained the indictment and related civil suit Bowmar filed in response...he is claiming zero wrong doing, and he's being bullied by fish and game for killing a couple 200 plus bucks...it will be interesting to see how this shakes out. If they killed anything with that Nebraska outfitter, I'd say they're screwed regardless. But you gotta prove it.

    Good point.
Don't think I've ever said it but your spot on.
A deer will not "normally" be walking in the woods and all of a sudden, stop and start feeding in a tight spot.
Ted nugent hunts are very telling.

Let's let this play out though fellas.
    They are not (convicted) yet.

Isn't he the guy that shoots stuff at like 80 yards? I have lost track of these types..Maybe they are innocent, but that doesn't excuse him being a tool..because he is. social media will bring this country to it's knees..the bible says "there is nothing new under the sun, vanity is chasing the wind"

I never got a good feeling from the Bowmars and after trying one or two videos of them never played them again.

Innocent until proven guilty? Not anymore! Get out the e-torches and burn them at the virtual stake. Gotta love the modern world we live in.

I like Josh and Sarah. They've never been anything but nice to me in the several times I've met and talked with them. If it proves that they were in violation of the law, I will support any punishment they are given. You reap what you sow. However, I'll reserve my judgment until the details are presented and a judge or jury decides their fate.

my ex wife was always nice to me, but that didn't stop her from being unfaithful and dishonest...just saying.. but you are right, they are granted due process and I don't know them or anything about them..I just know their show was annoying to me.

Wait what? Numerous big timers settle out of court and things just slowly whisper away into the abyss quietly that is created by expensive lawyers.

Josh and Sarah filing a counter suit strikes me a little as odd, and could be a sign of they did no wrong doing...or a legal practice done solely for settlment negotiations.

Isn't this the same guy that caused an uproar a few years ago for spearing a bear in Alberta? I think it was legal at the time but was filmed and displayed in such poor taste in the eyes of nonhunters, that it is now illegal. Let the justice system runs its course and give them their day in court, but, better judgment is needed from all who hunt in front of cameras.

Several deer and turkeys were killed by them at baited sites with this outfitter according to the ongoing investigation that has been in the works for several years. Trophies have already been confiscated. Too bad they moved to Iowa. The evidence is a bit overwhelming. They shared camp with too many others that have already pled guilty.

That and the fact that a Federal Grand Jury has recommended prosecution. Their counter suit is just to fight Lacey Act charges because they carry way more weight than just state charges of taking game over bait.
