Congrats on your new baby.... Did you get to shoot their new waffle-design one while you were there? Heard good things about that one from a few guys.
Have fun with it bud. Give us a review. Im buying a new bow after this season so it would be a big help. Chris
Congrats on your purchase. Have fun with that bow, it really can sling them in there. I almost pulled the trigger on the Reezen last year, but talked myself out of it. I'm almost afraid to shoot the new Z7, as I'm not sure I could swing a new bow this year, and would hate to fall in love with it.
No I didnt shoot any of the new ones, he didnt have them in. Plus I wouldnt have got the deal that I did. He was trying to clean out his 09' models. For the report I shoot it good, alot beter than I ever shot my Drenalin. Its fast and accurate. It is nothing like the last 3 bows Ive had. The LX, Outback, and Drenalin. I dont know if I am in love with it, but it is growing on me. I just couldnt turn it down. I just had to trade I lost all confidence in the Drenalin. My 3 yr old Drenalin and $150. If it is the "chosen one" I will trade it in the summer. So far so good. As far as pics I am not that computer savy I dont do pics. Its a Mathews Monster.
Where is a good place i can trade my bow in for another bow...can you do it at any store..??? I would love to trade my bow in for a nicer bow...
congratz, my buddy just picked up the Z7 yesterday!!!!!!!!! wow, i know how excited he was, im sure you are bouncing off the walls!
No Troy I got the 60 lb. It isnt a real nice draw, compared to my other Mathews any way. I honestly dont think I would want to try a 80 lb bow. I have mine at about 57 lb. I havt put one through a crono, but I'll bet it is close to 290. My Drenalin was only 235 with the same arrow. It is incredably fast for what im shooting. I realy dont know why the 80 lb model would be needed. Using FMJ 400 it shoots flat till 30 yds. Very impressed.
I liked the monster a lot better than I did the reezen. It has a pretty harsh draw cycle and isn't the most forgiving bow but it's nasty fast. I think you made a good decision, especially given your draw weight, to get the most out of your bow.
