Gone and Done it! (injury) UPDATE 10-11-11

Remember my 07 season, snapping my Achilles tendon and hunting in a cast and crutches?

Well, skip forward, 2011 season, I lay here in a cast again, left arm, elbow to fingers... snapped my radius in my left forearm! I'll be in the cast through the beginning of Oct... time will tell... damn! :(

Time to take up crossbow hunting. I was just wondering where you've been.

Thank you all, I fell off a ladder at home cleaning leaves from the gutters... figures, 22 years with a phone company, climbing poles, ladders, treestands etc and a ladder at homes gets me my first broken bone... I'm just taking it one day at a time...

    Damn Rob,
I thought everybody knew that you're supposed to clean gutters in the spring. It's so you can heal up by hunting season!!

    Get well quick.

PS Did you get a camo cast? Maybe you can have it dipped.

I hope you get better soon enough, maybe you'll be able to catch the second half of the season.

Hope you recover quickly. I hunted on crutches one shotgun season in 12 in of snow. I had knee surgery the day before shotgun opener and I wasnt going to miss the chance to hunt with friends. lol. The doctor told me to start putting pressure on it when I thought I could. I dont think he meant that same day haha. My dad wanted to kill me!!! What we do to go hunting.
