Nice high quality bench made machete intended for work in woody areas. If you go into the woods a lot, this will be your friend. A 14" blade and 6" handle is perfect for small tree limbs, and thick brush. Looks like it is just for display, but it is a really tough knife. It weighs a tad more than 1.5lbs.

This is not a long blade machete and I have another similar one that will easily cut down 1.5" saplings and brush very easily. Great for clearing around a stand.

Constructed of 6150 steel which is similar to 5160 but it has Vanadium.

6150 should better 5160 in all regards by a small margin... same or better edge holding, a bit better grain structure, greater impact hardness, so IMO a better choice for a blade that is going to be beat to death in hostile environments.

Convex grind, burl wood handle, brass, eyelet and guard, full tang construction, with brass rivets.

Is brand new, never used, and comes with a leather case and I will sell the machete and case for $78 + $6 postage. If you want Priority the total cost is $88
