XT hunters? I've shot those for years and they do well. Lately though, I've been thinking about going with a heavier arrow to gain more kinetic energy. Anyway, they are good shafts and tough as nails.

    Not Sure on the XT's.

Not what your really after. I've never shot the XTs. However, the Expedition Hunter have served me well. I don't think you could go wrong with ANY arrows from GoldTip. IMO.

If the US bass pro's have the same items on sale as the Canadian ones than the Gold tip hunter arrows are going on sale during their hunting sale.

I've been shooting the Gold Tip XT Hunter arrows and I think they're solid. Not sure if you could go wrong with GT.

I use XT Hunters as well. Honestly they are so tough I don't ever see myself changing. The only time I have cracked one is when I shot into a tree and twisted and pulled as hard as I could to get it to come loose. Then it slightly splintered around the insert. Great arrow and affordable compared to many others.

XT Hunters are perfect for someone who is just hunting or even 3d'n for fun. Awesome mix for the money.

My favorite arrows, in 5575's. I have killed 5 deer now, with the same #1 marked arrow. (different broadheads, of coarse). I simply inspect the arrow, clean it off, and give it a spin. I shoot a Q2XL matthews, with 63# @ 29" w/27" arrow, and 85 gr slick tricks. My last buck was 225 #, and standing broadside @ 17 yards. Once again, complete pass-thru. Put new blades on the bh, and it is back in my quiver again. Toughest arrows, I have ever shot.

I am eyeing some XT's...what is the highest grains/inch that these come in? Would really like to be close to 10gr/in if possible.

I shot XT hunters for the last few years, and they did just fine for me. This year I switched to the Pro Hunters and I'm very pleased so far.

Depends what spine you need. Plain black 7595s (.340 spine) are 8.9 gpi. The camo ones are 10.2 though. They also make a crested version that I believe was near 9.6 or something. Worth checking into.
