Sitting in same day surgey getting ready to go have tubes put in my ears. Something I've needed done for a long time.

Hopefully I can get the fluid off my ears so I can hear deer walking through the woods . lol

Had it done twice as a kid.

Yea, im doing good. I woke up when leaving the room and never experienced any sickness or soreness. (They had to clean the fluid out) Lady in recovery said I did better than anyone has. I was only in there a few minutes before heading back to my room. Sit there about an hour or so before they let me leave.

I've been pretty lazy today. Just lounging around watching tv, playing on phone and napping.

Funny part was my wife had to work 3rd shift last night and got off at 7 this morning and I had to be there at 7:45. She works in surgery there and she was asleep in my room when I got there.

She's been lounging around today to.

Spending the day with ones wife relaxing could be a blessing or a curse. As long as she was in the role of wife and not Nurse Ratched, it's a blessing. Good for both of you! Now, the 64 million dollar question.....Can you hear any better yet?

I don't know right now, kinda feels funny at the moment and have to put drops in but judging by the number on the tv, I seem to hear a little better.

My 15 year old son has been home and he is pretty good at aggravating so it hasn't been all relaxing. Lol

i hope you have a speedy recovery. i have had this done 6 times growing up, my mom says its because my dad won tickets to a ZZ Top concert on the radio and she went and enjoyed her front row seats while 8 months pregnant with me lol. i cant blame her and i do love me some ZZ Top.

I could have had it done a few more times. Twice when I was a kid as well as surgery to remove pollups. I've been putting it off for a long time.
