    Now that was useful information.
The article says that papilloma is species-specific...however, there was a recent article floating around the net where a rabbit had papilloma tumors (it was covered with horny growths, looked nasty) and that article said that it is transferable to humans. I don't know that I want to take the risk.

Uh, no HPV does not cause herpes. HPV causes warts (including, but not limited to, the genital variety); not herpes. The article I speak of said that handling the infected rabbit could transfer the virus to your skin. Where you touch yourself after you touch the rabbit, well, that's on you. Pardon the pun.

I wasnt saying that you can get it or an STD from the rabbit.

Im saying "in humans" that is what it was called. Someone mentioned if humans can get the papiloma virus. I should have left out the herpes part, because technically they are different viral diseases though very similiar.

Going to with drawl my original statement. Doesn't look like the disease I came across last year. Last year I had deer with Huge swollen, bloodshot and bleed eye sockets. Within a very short time I would find the deer dead or near dead...

    Good luck this season!
