I have only shot expandables and I want to change to fixed. Maybe Muzzy or Slick tricks. Which should I go with 3 or 4 blade? I am shooting GTips 5575 3" vanes.
    Thanks in adavance
    Chuck

Go with 4 blades if you can. The difference between a 3 blade and a 4 blade is a hole.. and the 4th blade is responsible for it.

Can't argue with a better blood trail.

I've used the 4-blade muzzy 100g ever since they came out, and I absolutely swear by them.

Muzzy's always fly really erratic (hi, left, right) on my setup. Never tried the Slick's but, heard all good flight stories

Muzzy are great heads when they fly right. I used slicks before, they fly great, but they are not that strong. Muzzy or Rage for now. Rage this past season...5 for 5. why not Rage for you anymore?

I have been sling'n Tricks for 3 yrs now and haven't had any issues with them. They are flying as true as field points for my setup. I have never tried expandables but if I did it would be the Rage 2 blade. My Tricks are the 100 Mags. I think all Tricks are 4 blade. I believe they came out with a couple of new models in '08 but I haven't tried any of them.

I use 3 blade muzzys I could not get the Mx4 blade to fly right. The 3 has never let me down and I have shot a ton of animals. The rage problem I have is the cost of them I would be broke in a hurry. I have great blood trails with the 3 blade no worries there. The price and availability is at the top of the list compared to other broadheads.

I use the older style Muzzy 3 blade heads (125 gr). They haven't let me down yet.

I shoot the old style 3 blade Muzzy's. I practice at 50 yds w/them, and have no flight issues whatsoever. I've killed everything I've shot with them. Granted, I may not get the massive blood trail like Rages' but they do the job, they kill deer. A definite advantage is that they are reasonable in cost, u can replace the blades for only $10 for 3 sets, and they are tough. If you pay attention at the end of the season, u can get a real bargain on them. I've bought sets of 3 for $10 in the past few yrs. I have thought about Rages just because of trying something new. I plan on using my Muzzys' on elk this fall.

I have shot the grizztricks and really liked them. Another great head is the G5 Striker. Definitely worth checking out. Flys great, supersharp and awesome blood trails.

Another awesome fixed head you may want to consider is the G5 Stryker.

They are razor sharp out of the box and fly very well.

I shot the big ole' Snuffers this last season, I have a new pack of the 2 Blade Stingers with the bleeders I'm hoping to send thru a deer this coming season!

I also like the lifetime warranty you get with Magnus heads!
