I have noticed sometimes when I take my cam from indoors the temp change will really fog the lense. It has been HOT so its expected comming from a cool house. This Fall when I go the other way from the warm house to 20-30 degree temps, Im sure it will do the same. am I better off locking it up in my vechicle for awhile in the pole barn prior to going hunting so it stays near the same temps ill be hunting in???

See what the temp limits are for your gear, too hot/cold is one concern more for the electronics. Humidity is your other (pouring rain is a whole different story), but can funk your lenses and electronics.

If there is a middle ground (semi conditioned) that may help bridge the change. I assume you're filming very close to home or transporting the camera in a heated/cooled cab of a truck.

See if you can access this link, has a lot of good info and suggestions: http://m.voices.yahoo.com/why-camera-lens-fog-prevent-it-2408561.html
