i am shooting my bh's and they hitting about half inch of so higher then my field points arrow flying good. jw if it still be a good idea to tune it and put it all on paper and i was told bh's will normally hit a little higher anyways. i have been archery hunting for bout 3 years and have normally bought bh's put them on and shot them. so i dont know much bout tunning bows and all the really important stuff.

    thanks for the input

That is pretty close right there. However, you can close that up by adjusting your nocking point or rest in very small amounts.

    Hi,

if that worked for you in the past you're a real lucky guy. Normally the BHs have to be tuned in. Without tuning you won't get that little offset of 1/2''. For tuning get the 'arrow-tuning guide' from Easton. If you take a look at theat guide, all is said. You can direct download that from their homepage.

1/2" at what distance? Most shooters can't hold a group tight enough that 1/2" is discernible. If it were me I'd be happy where it is and leave well enough alone as long as it was 1/2" at my maximum effective range and not at 10 feet...

    and.....

1/2" difference consistently at 45yds??? You're a hell of an archer....

Most guys group about 4-6" at 45yds, and that 1/2" difference ain't enough to worry about.

I can't hold a group that tight at that distance to be able to recognize a 1/2" difference. You are a much better shot than I :hail: and I practice a lot. I knew I should have stuck with a rifle. What bow are you shooting and what arrow?
