Nice. Do you like Wyoming over Colorado?

    Good luck. Love the pics.

Happy to have drawn my resident CO tag.

Can't wait to get a chance to get my first elk.

Man - I'm jealous of you guys. My wife is expecting a baby mid to end of September this year so no elk hunting for me this year. I hope you guys all have a great hunt. Here's a picture of my hunt last year - I have to say I love the high country...

These are pics that I've taken over the last few years while hunting in Wyoming.

Afflicted, I've never hunted in Colorado but I'm sure I'd love hunting there too! I grew up in Wyoming and go back every year to hunt whatever I draw a tag for or to do the calling if one of our group draws a tag. I just love being up there and all my family still lives there. My son (Dubbya) and his wife are expecting a baby boy on my birthday (Sept 16) so my hunting trip coincides with being a grandpa for the first time. I'm pretty excited!

Thanks! It is always a fun time. We see tons of game, cast a fly rod a bit and play some golf during mid-day once in a while. We usually stay out of the woods in mid-day so we don't bump anything out of the area. If it's a cool/cold day we hunt all day.
