Going elk hunting!!!

I mentioned earlier that I did not draw an elk tag and was waiting to see if my buddy drew a resident tag. Well, he did! I'm back in elk hunting mode and looking forward to it. Just a little over two months away and the time will fly by. I drew a deer tag so we'll both be hunting. I thought I'd post some pics of our past elk trips.

Looks great. I was up at elk camp last week putting up trail cams and mostly just enjoying being up there.

Thanks for putting up the pics. Looks like you have had some success in the past. Good luck this year on elk and deer.

 

Deer season opens Sept 14th. We head out to Co. for the end of the archery season sometime around the 17th or 18th.

Thanks guys; headed to Wyoming. I may go up in a couple weeks to help frame up a garage/shop for my son. I'll put out a few cameras and see what I get over a few days. Probably have just a week there and then back in September.
