Decided to replace my Honda mower, started looking at different units. I went with a stihl self propelled walk behind. I can keep it in my garage and not stink up the house. It will be interesting to mow without the noise. My leaf blower is electric, my pole saw same thing. When I replace my string trimmer it will be electric too. It is nice to not have to worry about bad gas for tools that are not used often.

After watching my wife mow her parents lawn several times last year because she enjoyed it I stopped paying for lawn care and bought her a mower. I looked hard at the electrics but decided against. I’m curious to hear how it works out for you.

My lot is 1.12 acres that includes the house footprint and the cement patio and garage skirt so I figure it is a little over a half acre, I hope it can do it on one battery.

The second battery would be expensive.

I can not watch my wife mow she drives me nuts, when mowing it is about straight lines you do not continue a curve.

I cut so much grass as a kid I have no issue if I never cut another blade again. Wife is mowing every five days which is great. Lawn care guy was cutting once a week.

have an electric mower at mobile home lot UP NORTH, Can mow my lot6, neighbors lots on both sides still some battery life left, another plus, can hang this mower by handle on wall of shed, saves a lot of room for more important things, like a grille, or beer cooler

I like the idea for electric mower for trim parts but for a large yard still like the gas. This hog just got delivered today. My first zero turn and I definitely need some practice or it will end up in the pond. 0D329707-11E7-45BE-93D7-B558A5944CA9.jpeg

Have to love lazy customer service people who do not care. Lawn mower arrived today and there were two boxes. I open up the small one and there is a battery, open up the second box with the mower in it and there is the battery and charger. I thought about buying an extra battery but for $300 I would see how it goes with just one battery. I looked at the invoice I did not get charged for the battery. I called the company and explained that I need to return a battery, the employee starting talking about issuing a credit, I told her that there was an extra battery sent that I did not order or pay for. She said oh, just go ahead and keep it. Gave me a $300 gift, guess where I am going to buy my electric weed whip.

I bought an electric push mower about 6 yrs ago to mow a steep bank I have. Every 11/2 to 2 yrs, the batteries die and woln't take a charge. At $135.00 apiece it got too expensive to run. That mower now sits in my junk pile.

Problem is you bought a cheap mower that uses cheap batteries, there is a reason quality costs more. I researched the Home Depot and Menards electric mowers, they are exactly what you pay for.

Agreed good reviews, guess I will see how it goes for me with my Stihl, hope to get 3 years out of it, that was how long my Honda gas mower lasted.

Well now that the irrigation and weed and feed has kicked in it takes 3 batteries to mow the whole lawn, not a problem a battery charges in the time it takes me to make and eat lunch.

I went this route, tired of gas and oil, carbs and filters, etc..

Went with EGO brand due to options and reviews .

Had the mower for 3 years now, bought replacment blades so I'd have 2 sets.

No complaints. Have the mower, snow blower, leaf blower and edger. Have 3 7.5ah batteries and a 4ah, no issues so far.
