Aside from the grill, the Slow Cooker or "Crock Pot" is without question the finest cooking innovation in the history of civilized man.

Before I left for work this morning I threw in a nice big pot roast, a cup of water, some onion soup mix, and a bunch of potatos, carrots, and onions. I came home to a delicious meal without having to rely on my wife to cook it. In fact, she's not even home right now. Does it get much better than this? :D

Whether it was made by a union worker here or in some sweatshop in Vietnam, here's to the Slow Cooker!

Throw in a can of mushroom soup along with the onion soup, and put it on egg noodles. Since retiring, i'm a crock pot connisure.

Every now and again I spice it up with a cream of "something" soup, depending on how I'm feeling. Great advice on the noodles though! I usually just enjoy it with some bread & butter myself, but I'ma try that out next time.

Don't buy the walmart generic onion soup mix. I think it's made out of armpits.

Otherwise, yeah... the crockpot is great.

I like mine for cooking a feral hog backstrap when I don't have time for the smoker. Same deal, throw it in there in the morning, get home after work, chop, add BBQ sauce and its pig sammich time!

Sadly, my crock pot is a highly under-utilized kitchen tool. Love the meals that can be made from them, but I never seem to use it often enough.
