Well I just found out that I drew a Turkey permit for 4/10-4/13. I am getting really excited now! This was my first year putting in for the permit and I had always heard it was hard to get...well hopefully my season will go as well and I'll have the same amount of luck. I'll post as many pics as I can of the hunt. Hope everyones season goes well! Nothing but bow this year!

Well it's a 3 day hunt for the permit hunt...if I don't get my 2 gobblers during those 3 days I do have another place to go. I'm just excited that I drew a permit for opening day!
I wish I saw the excitement in it, that ya'll do. Maybe THIS year I'll try it? Anyway I wish ya luck!
It's hard to get too excited about Turkey yet here (even though it's March). There is still a good foot of snow on the ground. It seems like the average daytime temp is now above freezing most days so I think we have turned the corner.
