Goatees are for boys who can't grow a full beard yet, but still want to feel masculine with facial hair. Come on guys...
During the winter I wear the full scruff, don't want a santa claus beard, so I just keep it buzzed down respectable. During the summer I only wear on my chin, too hot otherwise...but I can't stand the feel of a bare chin. Haven't seen my chin since my freshman year in highschool. I sooo badly wanted to start shaving in highschool, and a few years later I'm wishing I didn't ever grow a lick of facial hair. Gotta be the biggest hassle. :D
I remember the days when you were cool when you could start growing some facial hair. Then everyone realized it was a pain in the ass. :D Hook, you're absolutely full of it. Goatees are perfectly fine.
I'm 35 years old and have never gone more than 4 days without shaving. Actually that's not quite true, I had a rockin stach when I was in college - it went well with the mullet...:D
