Who on here has already accomplished some of the dreams/goals that they had set forth to get done in life?

I have gotten married, bought a house, killed a 140"+ buck with my bow, and am getting ready to hunt elk with my bow. These are just a few I have checked off my long list.

    LOL! That's good...

Successfully stayed single, since my divorce (YES!!!).
Raising my daughters pretty much on my own.
Received my degree (with honors) at age 35.
    Blessed with my dream career.

Bonus: *my daughters are now old enough (and responsible enough) to allow me plenty of time in the woods*
    Life is GOOD! :tu:

Managed to make it home safe from two deployments, goal complete! Met my goal to bench press 300 lbs, got 305 up. Next on the list, retire from the Army in a few more years and find an area that I like and a job that I like to finally have some normalcy in my life!

I have a family, bought a house, been in my field for 13 years (at the same company) and started back to school last year. If everything stays on track, I'll have my BSEE in 2016.

I have a goal to go on and get a Master's in Engineering Management after completing the BSEE, but we will see how I feel in 3 years.

I'm married to the most fantastic woman I've ever met. Everything else is icing on the cake.

I never set goals I just rolled with the punches. I do have one goal I guess is to kill a 170" or better with the bow. Maybe this year.

Same here, roll with the punches. I have done/accomplished many things in my life so far but have never really had a "list" of things to accomplish. Maybe I should have. Some things fell into my lap and others I have worked for. I did have one goal/dream and that was to own my own land. Which I accomplished. Couldn't be happier.

My main goal was to have a family and live where I'm at, with different goals that have been coming and going fluidly throughout the years that aren't life or death important. Married last year and going great getting house/land improved, couldn't be happier there. Best part is looking forward to our first kid being born in November. Everything besides that now is just side goals. I couldn't be more excited for bow hunting season being a great obsession and huge part of life, and it means baby will be here very shortly after. Even if I don't get a deer it'll be my favorite hunting season and most memorable.

Thank ya. And yeah, I kinda doomed my timing but for this reason I'm more than happy to. The day before we found out I made a comment about it getting late enough in spring that should keep hunting safe since that was the only time of year I woulda preferred told have been after since the months prior hadn't had any luck. Next morning found out and I knew my comment did it for me and the timing couldn't have hit a more prime time. Hopefully will have luck early with bow season starting so much earlier. Guess my son will kinda have to love that time of year. Sets up for some nice father / son hunting trips for birthdays in the future...
