I once shot 77 one day and 78 the next day. I didn't break 90 for over a month after those 2 rounds. LOL

Congrats on the nice round! Always a great feeling when you can shoot a score that has been eluding you for so long! I worked for Hank Haney for several years and was amazed just how much working with a coach can change your game. I haven't played in a few years now but I am really looking forward to getting back at it this year. Just not gonna get my hopes up for any sort of a score.
Ahhh the swing is really coming together. Nice little 67 today. Driver was on FIRE! I missed one fairway and one green. One bogey and six birdies. Could have been goofy low if the flatstick cooperated. But I'll take it.
You went back to the windmill course too didn't you. What did you score on the Eifle Tower hole. Putt putt is so much fun. If only they served beer.
Yo yeah that was my one bogey. Tough hole that is! Should've eagled the clowns mouth hole, but I lipped out from 10 feet.
Great round Germ. Sounds like you are in for a very enjoyable summer on the course. Next step, breaking 70! I have not even had a chance to touch the clubs yet this year, but I am getting the bug for sure. Once I fill the turkey tags, I will focus on golf.
Shot 38 in league tonight, two 3 putts and missed two great chances for a birdie. Best part I just hit the ball ok, my misses are way better these days. I have been to Disney world, next stop Augusta.
Here's a few swing thoughts for you to get you to that next level... http://www.real-world-physics-problems.com/physics-of-a-golf-swing.html
That is definitely a milestone. The amazing thing about golf is how easy you can lose it. It can feel like the easiet game in the world for a couple of weeks and then all of a sudden the duck hooks sneak in, or the hole shrinks to the size of a dime. I use to play alot of golf. I had a weekend where i shot 74 and 72,and had made 15 birdies in 45 holes. I could not miss, and the funny thing is i was fighting the hooks during that stretch. Then all of a sudden I am back to shooting 80 to 83 every round. I don't know how many times I have shot par or better on the front nine and throw a 42 plus back nine, or vice versa. Once the score gets in my head I am toast. That is what keeps you coming back though, certainly an addicting game.
Just a quick tip for the "scorekeepers". Add them up at the end of the round and see what you shot. I can honestly say I don't know where I am in relation to par at any point during a round. Focus on executing each individual shot. Everything else... there's nothing you can do about it. The only think you can control is committ to the golf shot that your standing over about to hit.
