I had the pleasure of shooting with a couple of BHC homies today, buckeye & OHbowhunter. Scott mentioned that I was only the second member who has asked him to link up for some 3D fun (aside from GTGs, of course). For the life of me, I can't figure out why that is. When I noticed another member from Columbus, last year (and the only other C-bus member, to my knowledge), we shot together within a few weeks With 3+ hours between Scott and I, we simply chose a reasonable location between us. And Joe's lucky enough to live right around the corner from the place The bottom line is that we had a blast, once again I've learned some things from Scott (a far superior shooter than myself :d ) and it didn't take a whole lot of effort to do it. More of us should be doing this, more often!!
That's good to hear. I enjoyed the few times I've gotten together with a few fellow members. I need to make more time to do so, sometimes it's hard though with schedules. I pretty much spend every free minute at my new house working on things.
I had a great time, it was good to see and bs with you again Josh and it was a pleasure to meet you Joe. Joe also brought his little guy along for the fun Oh yeah.... and we got to talk some OSU football :d
I usually get together with some members for a couple 3D's every summer. Good times and good meeting new members for sure.
My boy and I had a great time and I thank you for letting us tag along. After getting home and talking it over with my wife, it appears as if that club is going to have another member....or 2. It was great to meet you guys and I hope we can meet up there again in the future.
The GTG last year really got me interested in 3D shooting with guys. Everyone there was just a terrific person, and the shooting was fun too. I have yet to make it to another 3D course since then, but I truly hope to a number of times this spring and summer. No OSU football talk though:d
That's great. A couple of times some the Ill. & WI. guys have got together for the very same thing. The only problem is that I've had to work everytime they shot.
Several of us get together Saturday mornings during the summer and shoot together. I am actually looking forward to starting to do that again soon!
Good idea. I was lucky enough to meet another bowhunter in my town that wanted to shoot with me. He's not a member on any forum but, still, it's just nice to finally have someone to shoot with.
