Um...okay...wasn't even sure we'd talked about just Packers GOAT...I'd agree in that conversation we'd have only 2 I think that could be considered at the moment; Starr and Favre. I personally would vote Starr.

5 NFL championships and 2 Superbowls it isn't even up for debate Bart is the King.

There were a lot of ills on offense this year...but I had expected Rodgers to adapt his game to compensate for these flaws. Favre's picks were beyond frustrating at times...but he was always willing to put it on his shoulders. Currently Brett gets #2 on the list for me.

Can't be number two in my book when leading in int's, Brett is not as clutch as Aaron simple stats point that out. Aaron is pretty damn efficient.

Statistics are why these best ever discussion go bad. For instance Jay cutler has more game winning drives than Aaron. Is he more clutch? We all know that is not the case.

TD's Vs Ints. Is the biggest difference between the two. Aaron did not have a good season, then again it is hard to get much done without blocking.

Exactly...I believe Aaron will end his GB career as my choice for #2 GOAT GB QB...but right now Favre without a doubt. The man threw INTs yes, but boy did he throw TDs as well and make something out of nothing so many times.

Brett's INTs in post season games snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. I will admit what he did to the vikings against the Saints it touched me and warmed my heart. Brett was part of the renaissance of Green Bay but let's be honest Reggie White and the defense was a bigger part of the success.

Let's not mix positions or impacts of GB players....there are more players to list above Brett if we open it up beyond QB than Reggie. :D Hornung...Nitschke...Taylor...Hutson...are first few to jump to my mind other than Reggie.

Wasn't Farve the league MVP 3 years in a row or something like that? He must have been a pretty big reason for the Packer's success?

Yes he was but when god told Reggie to move to Green Bay it was a huge national story. Packer fans forget who was the MVP of the Superbowl that they won in 96. Many don't know what a diva Brett was during his last years with the Packers. I was at camp in Green Bay when Brett changed his mind about retiring. It was after the morning session I headed back early to the dorms to before the busses got back and saw on ESPN the scroll. Ryan Pickett and Cullen Jenkins walked in to get set up to sign after lunch, I said have you guys heard about Brett? Their first reaction and what they said amazed me, they were not one bit excited about Brett returning.

I guess I am the only one who realizes that Bart was the QB that brought 7 championships to the Packers, Brett pissed away a few championships with interceptions.

Bart is the greatest GB player period...I'd probably argue GOAT in the NFL ( I may be bias there though). :D

Desmond Howard was awarded MVP of that Superbowl. But, Favre (2 passing td, 1 rush td, no int) and White (3 sacks) had good games too.

Not to mention my dog wore a cheesehead the entire game because when he picked it up we scored our first touchdown so I made sure he held on to it or wore it the rest of the game. He was the real MVP....a pissed off one by the end of it...but the MVP nontheless haha!

Ty, I just don't know how to respond to this. There has never been one of those cheese heads in my house, or on my head. Doing that to a dog just isn't right:evilgrin:
