    This to a T.

Imagine if we had this D when the offense was still good? Whoa nelly.

Yup...as long as we use Starks too though he's fine and a different style...however we will never be able to rely on him fully and this offense when face paced is not for Lacy. Lacy is goof for us when we slow down with a lead and pound....otherwise Starks is the better option. Would bet we continue to try and draft complementary style RB's in the 4th to 6th until Lacy either loses weight or leaves.

You can't trust Starks to be the bell cow in the backfield he fumbles.

If Starks holds onto the ball.

Never said I trusted him for that...and you and Matt both pinned the donkey tail as to why. I would not argue against a solid RB choice anywhere from 2nd round to the end. I would love our first pick to be a stud lineman on either side of the ball...OL preferred.

A free agent signing wouldn't hurt either, I know Ted usually takes his vacation when NFL free agent season opens up but I think this year he should look to see who can help.

Not to be thinking past the playoffs but here's a question for you Pack Fans:

Banjo/Richardson/Hayward are the DBs set for free agency if the last list I saw was accurate. Of those do you see any/some/none coming back? The rookies drafted this last season appear to be an a big upswing....Shields will be back and then Hyde is there as well. Ha-Ha and Burnett could continue to hold that down....

In my opinion Hayward will garner too much money from someone else and will be gone. One of either Banjo or Richardson will be back for sure and the DB's next year will be even better than this season.

As for the OL, Barclay and Taylor are the only two worth noting (Meredith the other). I don't want to see us lose Barclay...too versatile.

Sign Matt Forte for a year or two. Most versatile all purpose yard RB since he came into the league if I remember the stat line right....he isn't a spring chicken but he also wouldn't have to be the full bell cow with Lacy.

Matt will want a lot of money Ted would never spent a lot of money on a back with a tank under a 1/4 left. What was the nature of his injury this season?

Another thing of note is Lang/Sitton/Tretter/Bahk all have their free agency year in 2017....some refresher along the line sooner rather than later is a good thing and I fully expect it to happen.

I agree he has growth...but you can see it. Next year will be the year we truly see if Teddy is gonna grow or stay above average/mediocre area.

Completely agree he would garner too much for Ted to do...but along those same lines there are similar backs style wise which is what we need. We have our over weight thumper (albeit an athletic one) with Lacy...we need a cardio rich speedy pass catching back.

The thing I like about Lacy is he is like Dorsey Levens never seems to get tackled and driven back always gets tackled going forward for more yards. I also do not think his weight is an issue, it never hurt the Bus. It is impossible to design and run a football play that does not require blocking, if you get hit 1 step after the hand off hard to bust it loose. Agree with drafting a few linemen.

It will and always does, just not usually the headline grabs...however we've done very well in FA or off the street pick ups in all honesty.

At this point I would want Joe Thomas. He is reportedly ready to move on from the dumpster fire (Cleveland). It would be expensive though. Plus being a former Badger brings out my homerish thoughts.
