Well gentlemen. We're staring down the barrell of what looks to be a very promising weekend for us bowhunters. The cold weather is setting in, it's the last week of October, and we're starting to reach that magic time of the year:d

Not one to pass up a good opportunity, I decided to rewared myself with a 3-day weekend.......for no reason:d. I drove home last night and got prepared to hunt this morning.

Well long story short, I didn't see a single deer this morning:cry::confused:. So after I got back to my truck I decided to go check my trail cam on my other property.

Wouldn't you know it:bash:. Nothing but racoons have touched this Trophy Rock in the past month, and deer decide to show up today:deer:. They all would have walked by my stand on their way to it. Not that I would have shot them since I am after a buck now, but it would have been nice to see something.:busted:. The madness began at 8:57

A young stud in the making:d

P.S. I couldn't figure out why my pics started being fuzzy all the sudden. They are not nearly as clear as they used to be. Well I found the problem. Freakin racoons smeared a thin layer of mud all over the lens:hater:

I am seriously debating going out in the morning or waiting to the afternoon hunt tomorrow. I've read alot of people not seeing squat in the morning. But yet your camera shows them being out in the morning. I wonder if it's just a little bit later than we're used to.
