I'll probably meet him this fall if he is hanging with Will when hunting KY. I'll reserve my opinion until then, since technically the only goon on here I have met is KodiakArcher. He is a great guy, maybe the rest of you have a chance too! He does kill a LOT of deer each year, that's for sure....can't do that without knowing what you are doing.
yall can call me a sack rider....I don't care. I just said what I think about his success. jeff knows that we have some differences, but I do believe that Jeff would and has invited me to his place if I wanted to come and hunt. He ain't selfish that's for sure. And the purpose of this thread is to high light what he has accomplished in 4 years...yr 1 compound...yr 4 recurve what does that =? dead deer with both weapons in record time. mad props from a Va sack rider...whatever you call it, I just don't have an ego and Im not ashamed to say that he has accomplished as much as I have and in one case more than I have in 20 yrs. Yeh I have plenty of kills, and some good bow bucks, but I don't have a trad kill and it took me 5 yrs to kill my first deer with a bow. good job jeff.
Pretty much sums it up. We had our moments, actually called each other out. My daughter lives just a couple miles from him and I once told him he was on my list when I came down to see her and it wouldn't be for drinks. He said he would meet me halfway.LOL Well, we had that meeting but things had cooled down by then, actually was invited over to his house. He does live out in the back country and steered me away from the still I saw cooking in the back woods. JK of course. He was not what I expected, all gray haired, tall and frail, kinda felt sorry for him, LOL. Na, Jeff's a stand up guy. He's the only guy that's on the same time of morning I am it seems.
This is just what Jeff needed a bunch of you stroking his ego.....LOL Don't know Jeff personally, but he has come a long way ....fast....by reading his posts
Jeff found me living under a bridge and took me in. Gave me food, shelter, and taught me how to provide for myself with a bow. Then he found me a good hunting dog and helped me fix up a nice hunting boat. He even put a really nifty camo paint job on it. (I'll post a few dozen pictures if it later, oh, the bow and dog too). Then he gave me a job and introduced me to my wife of 19 years. Finally, he sent me out to fly on my own and I landed in Iowa. We drifted apart until my illness in 2005, when he saved my life by donating one of his kidneys to me. (His left one if I remember right). Anyway, call me a sack-rider if you will. All I know is, Jeff kills stuff with lots of different braodheads, and you suckers are all jealous.
Jeff taught me everything I know about the elusive exotic dancer, more commonly known as the stripper.....now if I only would have listened to his rash removal seminar. :p:D
I'll take you up on that. Yeah, you told me you saw her at a resturant waitressing, I believe. I thought you were referring to "Eve" not "Bruises."
Well don't be getting her confused with "Bruises," there are NOT one in the same. At least, I don't think so. Things are a little blurry. AND she will be crushed. I'll have to send her a Hallmark. :p
I still don't understand how Jeff has enough time to hunt as much as he does, post as much as he does, and work a full-time job. I don't think the man sleeps.:D One thing is for sure, he has killed a mess of deer. I just wish he would leave his comfort zone and go kill a bruiser buck in NC and shut up some of the critics (aka those drinking Haterade).
IMO he has already shot 3 of them, what more does he have to do:D Break the state record, Jeff you are a slacker for sure
I'll let the cat out of the bag since I said nice thing about him... :D Killed in Jeff's County: 188"
