I was thinking about switching to this, but I was wondering how well this actually works? Does it blur the peep or do something similar? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
i shoot one...and no it doesn't blur anything. It isn't as bright as you may think, but it def makes a difference in those low light conditions for sure!!!
I messed with one last year, all they are is a Fletcher Tru-Peep painted with glow in the dark paint...IMHO it was more of a gimmick than anything cause all it does it make the peep easy to find in low light, it's not like it lights up your sight picture...I don't know about you guys but when I come to full draw I know where my peep is in the string...If a bow is setup right for you then you shouldn't have to "look" for your peep sight....I shot it some right at dark in the evenings and it didn't make my sight any easier to see....A light on your sight does way more than a glo-peep does.
Understand what your saying completely, it def doesn't help me "find my peep" cause like you said I draw my bow and my peep is where it needs to be it had helped me night hunting coons align properly making sure my pin is dead center of my peep. Before I gave it a try I missed a coon at 20 yards cause of how dark it was and I was off slightly while still looking through my peep, like I said its not bright at all just puts a slight glowing ring if you will around my peep allowing me to align with my sight housing and center my pin Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
