Bought a pack to try. Not impressed at all. They are wider than my standard nock or Nockturnals and don't fit between my string loop. First one popped off the string when I drew. Side by side they are not as bright as Nockturnals. And the so-called "tool less" design to turn them off is more of a pain than the Nockturnals; Tough to hold your bow in one hand and push nock onto string and push a button with the other. And one of the 3 turned off while it was still in my target. I'm going back to Nockturnals.

Do you notice the nockturnals rattleing a little bit? Not the fit into the shaft, but the button kind of rattleing in flight

No I haven't. I have used Nockturnals for the last 3 years. They seem to be pretty quiet.

How old are they? They changed the design a couple years ago

Are they the universal fit or a specific size? I have heard the universal ones make noise in some arrows...didn't think of that till now. Mine are the X nock ones.

They’re the GT nock ones. I’m wondering if I messed them up when I shut them off. Kind of wrinkled the foil part on them

They most definitely rattle. X versions of them. The universal x nock which is just without the bushing. Also the standard diameter ones do. Weird enough though its not all. Ive had 1 or 2 out of each pack hum when you tap the arrow. Nockturnals are all I use though

I thought it was the 50g weight that screws into the back of my inserts, so I pulled them out and reglued them together and that’s when I found it was the nock.

Put bowstring wax on the weight screws, that will usually quiet and rattle there. The nocturnals I haven't had that issue with the universal strobe version yet.

Fixed the rattle....I melted some string wax, dipped a tooth pick in, and applied it to the button on my Nockturns. The rattle quit and they still come on when shot. I guess the go button is just a little sloppy on the ones I bought. I’m a happy Nockturnal customer now:tu:

I personally like the older style nockturnals, but that's just me! Love my nockturnals, but have had a few of the newer design nocks not engage when leaving the bow string. I know this is a non-issue also, but like the aesthetics of the sleeker slimmer style older version.
