I went out and did a little glassing tonight. I hunted mostly private last year but decided to hunt some public land as well. There is a field bordered on two sides by public land that had three deer in it, one of which was a buck. I don't know exactly where they entered the field, but I found a nice trail very near there while turkey hunting this year. I'm assuming that they traveled this path. I saw three more before getting home. Two does and one fawn. I'm getting excited about season!
