How do you guys deal with people who ask for way to much of your harvests. I don't mind if its a family that is in need and i make a point to give them some.

Only time I've ever been asked for part of my venison , they wanted it in jerky . I gave them all that I could make in 4 days but it was going to the troops in Afghanistan. We donate through share the harvest and will give a needy family a whole deer that they can butcher themselves, I usually will not share what I have processed unless it's desperately needed by someone .
I refer them to the local deer processors who always have enough dead beats who don't pick up their meat to stock a small supermarket. All they have to pay is the process fee.
I used to give deer I couldn't use to the local hunters for the hungry program. That is until I found out most of the venison donated in my area ends up in the bellies of illegal immigrants. Now I butcher it all myself and give it out as friends and family ask.
I process and eat all of my harvests and share with family and some friends. But mainly I use it for my family. I have yet to have somebody hound me for venison and if they did I would say "I can give you some tips and pointers on how to get some for yourself." Haha
I fed ground venison to our youth at church for years. It was in tacos, nachos, pizza, spaghetti... you name it. I never told anyone except the youth minister, just in case anyone had a weird venison allergy.
I tell them it's been 3 years since I shot a deer but I'll keep them in mind if that changes this year.

I had a co-worker that kept stealing my deer jerky... I carried some of those dog treats in a Ziploc and just put them on my desk. He ate the dang things... I never told him what I'd done but he did quit taking my jerky.
I am just as happy to give all my venison to people that need it. I participate in "hunters for the hungry" every year. Especially when the DMAP or QDMA programs are in effect. It keeps me hunting and it keeps people not hungry. "Changing the world one broadhead at a time"....lol...not really
Same here! I share the experience and venison with friends and family, and usually donate some as well.
We mostly eat venison all winter so if I harvest three deer a year it lasts us til the following season so if I kill more than 3 I will give some away but it doesn't happen to often.
I don't mind giving some out to family or friends unless they make a nuisance asking all the time. It gets annoying when people always want jerky or deer sticks, things I generally pay for because I don't enjoy making myself lol.
It really depends. Mainly if the family is in need then I will most certainly give it up and keep hunting. In Virginia we can take 6 deer on one set of tags and that with the NC licenses I can certainly harvest more if need be. However if it someone who can afford the trip to a grocery store I usually get them into bowhunting. Thanks to venison BBQ and jerky in the office we now have at least 6 new additions to the bowhunting lifestyle. Some people however just do not care to get their hands dirty. In that case I am very polite and say let me care for my family first and then I will donate some if we have extra. Mainly because I want them to support the idea of hunting even if they don't care to do it them selves. It usually will cost me a roast or two each year of either deer or hogs. The more friends we have the better. Also sometimes if I ask to hunt someone's property I agree to share in the bounty 50/50. It only fair since they provide the land.
I do empty my freezer sometimes right after the season starts. Co-workers can help themselves when I do.
I don't usually give much away, but instead, I throw a few hams and back straps on the grill and invite everyone
