Gonna have to think about this. I have met so many from the site already through all the G2G's and hunting. Can say I am happy to have met so many and proud to be part of the original G2G 5! (Dubbya, Buckeye, Crik, IndaWoods, and myself as only members to attend every G2G so far!

I will put my list together and get it posted!

I've been watching this thread and could not come up with 10 people that I would hunt with over anybody else on this forum. I've hunted with Mike and Fran and hung out with a few guys over the years. Like Ferg, peak, indawoods, justin and others. Truth be told I would hunt with anybody anytime I could just as long as I hunt. You never know what you will learn from one person to another so bring them all on.:tu:

Sorry Tony I just couldn't narrow it down enough to give you a straight answer.

Wow, I see how it is. I followed everyone over from the "old" board, I've been around for like 5 years now, and I've even met some of ya, LOL. Anyways, I guess my quick "off the top of my head" list would be like this:

    Schultzy
    GregH
    TJF
    Justin
    Dan
    JohnnyMiller
    Duke
    Gri22ly
    Buckeye
    Kodiak
    Preach
    Rob

And I still have another 2 dozen I'd like to add, lol.

Tony - you were numero uno at one point in our silly little web world...

But since the summer of 2009 when I was in Buffalo and you were "BUSY" I have lost all hope in hunting with anyone on these funny little websites.

    Your truly Ed

Ps - You would have been my first:cry:

Geez, I feel like the fat chick of the group. I am described as "funny". My prowess as a bowhunter is obviously overlooked. I bet I would have a good time hunting with any random "10" of you guys. Here's a few off the top of my head and the reasons...

Hooker - if we are going to spend an eternity in hell together, we might as well start to get to know each other. Who knows, he just might like hunting. I also hear he is friends with Billy the Exterminator. Would be cool if he could bring him along.
Dan - because he likes to snuggle.
Germ - because he likes to spoon...and we can talk UM football.
Buckeye - so he can listen to Germ and I talk UM football. Rumor has it he also knows a little something about deer hunting.
    Justin - because he's famous.
Duke - because he grows a sweet mustache.
Fitz - just seems like a salty dude. And something tells me he can fix anything. Every camp needs a mechanic.
SliverFlicker - he forgets more about deer than I will even know. He has some of the best stories, too. Oh, and more importantly, we can talk fly fishing.
isaiah - just seems like a good dude to hang out with. I'm guessing he would be up for anything. Every camp needs a dude like that.
shed - same reasons as Fitz.
PT - something tells me we might have a conversation piece, or two.
All of Siman brothers - you always need someone at camp that can produce "friendly" girls at any time. And something tells me one of them would end up in jail...which always makes for a good camp story. Probably not bad to have someone with some first aid background around
Dubbya - I have to hear about the west.
    Gri22ly - he is a human map.
Bloodcrick - I have to see these fingers.
Christine - because the camp needs someone tough.
VS - with this group, we may need a peace maker. He may also be able to prevent the Siman boys from going to jail. Every party needs someone that can sweet talk the cops.
Finch - keep your friends close, but your enemies closer (PETA).
Rockinchair - I need someone to talk college basketball and football with.
GAbowhunter - just seems like a good dude.
Rybo - another cool, laid back cat.
Quiksilver- every camp needs a king.
TJF - because I have to know if he's as bad in real life is he is on the internet.
Kodiak - two reasons...the man knows his way around a bow, and Alaska. The second reason doesn't need explaining. The man hunts grizzly bears...freakin' grizzly bears.
Greg/MO - to talk high intensity training...and bows.
GFY - because Wisconsin always wants to be a part of something.
brucelanthier - I need a doe killing partner.
atlasman - because there has to be at least one fist fight to bring everyone together.

I'm sure I forgot some people, but you could pick any 10 from that list and I would have a good time.

There are just way too many people on here to list.

If you like hunting, shed hunting, trapping, scouting, like to laugh alot, can take it as good as you dish it out and you aren't a whiner...

    You've made my list.

    Vito...

My scars have scars. I have tipped a cow or two or three over in my life but not in fun. I know for a fact that if you hold a calf inbetween you and it's enraged mother... a few cows will still charge and floor you. I've stopped a charging 2000 lb plus bull with one blow. He bellowed like a little girl as he ran away. Been bite, kicked and bucked off. Been bite, kicked and bucked off a horse too.

I have been finger pinched by ever size trap including a 330 conibear. #4 coils freaking hurts. Trust me... a 220 Conibear is a bastard to get off when you can only use one hand cause your other one is stuck in it. :busted:

I've cheated death a few times and chuckle about it right afterwards. I've never figured out why people fall to pieces after a near death experience. I am always darn happy to get another day.

I have suffered through Sesame Street, Barney and the Teletubbies. I have suffered seeing my oldest daughter date worthless boyfriends.

I don't cry ever !!! Well ok there might have been a tear welling up when Ole Yellar died... but that is it.

    Life made me tough!!

Seriously... I am not a tough guy. I've known fear. I have felt weak and helpless.

I got a phone call from the emergency room that Tyler quit breathing and went into code blue when he was 1.5 years old. The lady said I need to get there right now as the wife was taking it hard. I told her not to worry about my wife but to save my boy !! I hopped in the old ford and floored it. I had 30 miles to go. The old ford over heated about 10 miles into the trip so I pulled into the first farmstead. No one was home but they left the keys in one of their pickups. I took it, borrowed it, stole it or what ever !! I knew them so I wasn't worried. They knew my pickup. Piece of crap wouldn't do 85 mph !! It was the longest 30 miles !!!

When I ran into the hospital... I saw the docter and a bunch of nurses talking right outside of the emegency room. They took one look at me and one of the nurses said.. IT'S HIM !!! They scattered!! And I mean they ran. I chit you not... they ran the other way. I was scared for Tyler to start with !! I figured he was dead when I saw them do that. There is nothing in this world that is as horrifying to me as that moment. Nothing !!!

I ran into the room and Barb was holding Tyler. She is crying. Tyler turns his head and looks at me. Barb says they almost killed him. She is in a rage. I have no idea what the hell is going on. There was another guy in the room and you could tell it is the last place he wanted to be... and that was before I ran in.

By now... I have pretty much run through the gauntlet of emotions except for one... getting mad !!

I am trying to stay calm. I look at the guy and ask him what is going on. He informs me... he is only the breathing apparation technition... I need to talk to the docter. I kind of lose it a bit and inform him... I would but the f-ing docter ran away when he saw me coming !!

I tried to calm Barb down to find out what happened. I finally get some answers. Tyler needed x-rays cause he came down with croup ( which I knew ). They wouldn't let Barb go in with him for the x-ray. Hospital policy. The lady that does the x-rays took Tyler back and STRAPPED him in to keep him from moving. She took the x-ray but didn't unstrap him until she was sure the picture turned out. That is what she told the doctor. She also didn't bother to check on him either while she waited for the picture to turn out. He was crying when she took the x-ray. He was still crying after the x-ray. When she walked back in to unstrap him... he wasn't crying... he also wasn't breathing.

The doctor had a hard time getting him to breath again. The figured he wasn't breathing for 10 minutes by the time the ordeal was over. We were very lucky to get him back !!! Tyler was lucky there was no brain damage. The doctor wouldn't come back to the room until he was ASSURED... he wasn't to be blamed and I wouldn't hurt him.

Ok... maybe I am a tough SOB !! Guess the only way to ever know... is to meet me.
