So I was out in my yard shooting my bow, and my girlfriend walks up and ask if she could try. After a few minutes of her trying to pull my bow back she said I can't use your bow to hunt so we'll just have to get me one. So now I'm looking for a setup for her to start out with. What is some good opinions out there.

I would say the diamond infinity edge pro, that's what I'm looking to get for my girlfriend. She shot her friends and did very well with it. You can get one that's ready to shoot for like 350-400

if she doesn't for some reason there are other companies that make bows with a wide range of pull weight and draw length. Mission Craze II is another and it comes in a wide range of colors. if she is just starting out in archery IMO any of those would be a good choice.

Most likely she will not exceed 60 lb pull or 29 inch draw so there are now lots of bows with plenty of adjustments. Start with low draw weight so she can build up muscle and form without pain. Looks like she already hunts so that's a good thing. Best to take her where she can shoot them to see what SHE likes.

Don't do it---save yourself--you will be broke money wise and back wise---you will be purchasing bows arrows tree stands pink clothes , boots probably 20 pair, all sorts of scent killers, gps units, many video,s--next you will be placing double the stands, and of curse all on your hotspots as she will never leave you alone if your seeing all the game , You will never get a day off for yourself, then if she loves it your may need to buy atvs, and expensive double packages for hunting trips I have seen it before , save yourself run and hide

I'm assuming some of this post is "sarcastic" but there are certain parts I agree with.

Stick with name brand if possible. You can find some real nice used bows on AT for under 500.00
