I just heard this on the radio. Praying for her. http://www.wbay.com/story/18570592/girl-hospitalized-after-shot-with-arrow
That is horrible What's worse is it is most likely going to be blamed on Hunters I really wish ethics and common sense could be programmed into some people. Even if it was truly an accident why didn't the shooter come forward right away. They may not have known they hit someone but if they missed their intended target why didn't they go look for the arrow. Sent from my LG-E739 using Tapatalk 2
I live and work within 15 min of where this happened. Campbellsport has a lot of hunting fishing type people. Its probably not going to give hunters negative exposure simply because of the demographics of the community. Its still sad and scary. Posted from my phone so please excuse my brevity.
Bad stuff. I killed my wife's new dryer once with my old recurve. I could put my target against the back wall of my garage and with the door up I could shoot from my neighbors driveway across the street. This gave me a nice 40 yard shot. One day I had a brain fart and shot over the target. Behind the garage wall was the laundry room just off the kitchen. The arrow passed through 2 layers of sheet rock and the insulation smacking into the new dryer door. I was in trouble. LOL This was in Texas, the first year of our marriage.
