Banjo Minnow. Lol. I fell for that one as well. I can’t really think of any bow hunting gimmicks that I purchased. Had a few good laughs at some. The acorn cruncher thing is one of them. Something you put on 2 fingers and crunch them together. Supposed simulate a deer feeding and calms other deer around you. I would think the deer would look right up at you making that noise. Lol. Steer A deer. Is that the fence you put in the woods? That made me chuckle as well

A blonde in California once convinced me to go hiking with her to pick wild flowers for nature loving. Turns out, it wasn't the euphemism I thought she was implying. I packed a homemade picnic and everything thinking it was going somewhere. We ate the food, filled the basket with wild flowers and went home. Never called her back after that. That was the last time I tried to date a blonde or a girl from California. Does that count?

I don't get suckered by gimmicks, I occasionally change up my camo pattern, but that is because I am buying something of higher quality material, not to hide better with particular pattern. I don't already have it and have killed deer with it, something new is probably not going help kill more.

I once read an in depth article about harvesting the anal secretions of a deer and then dragging it in the shape of a large crop circle with the end finishing at my stand. Took me 3 hrs of dragging before each hunt to lay down the scent from those deer from which I harvested the anal secretions.

My brother saved mom's used tampons to hang in the woods as a scent attractant.

Yes, this 100% really happened. I still give him sh!t about this. Can't say it worked for him either.

I bought the fart silencer one time. The problem was I went to fart so I pulled my pants down and stuck it up to my butt and when I did it was more than a fart. Sprayed brown all over my release and hand. Not a good situation

Normally writing in all caps drives me nuts but I think it is warranted in this case.

No way that a peep is a gimmick. Installed correctly it is a great piece of the puzzle to good shooting. Many archers want to be able to shoot extremely accurately beyond 25 yards. So, does that make a range finder a gimmick also? If so, I have been completely bamboozled.

At one time I owned at least 10 grunt tubes. Not really a gimmick, because they work, but I am always looking for the "perfect" one. lol
